Formula One team BMW-Williams is beginning to shut driver Juan Pablo Montoya out of testing and car development, the departing Colombian said at Hockenheim.

The 28-year-old, who's off to Ron Dennis' silver camp in '05, said on Saturday he's only done three tests all year and after Monza 'that's it' for the season.

''I don't mind,'' he said. ''I have more time for myself!

''As long as the car has all the [new] bits on it, that's good.''

Asked when it all started to go wrong with the 'radical' FW26 car, Juan Pablo said Williams had been 'too slow' with developments from the day it launched.

''We gave everyone a three month start,'' said the outspoken driver.

''It's getting better now but we've run out of time really.''
