07-09-2004 Mark Webber is off to BMW-Williams. That's the word in the Silverstone paddock after the Australian admitted 'some decisions have [now] been taken' regarding his short-term future in Formula One. ''I know everything,'' Jaguar's incumbent smiled in England. ''You guys (media) know nothing. That's how it will be today.'' Webber, 27, let slip it should all 'pan out' in the next four weeks. He has repeatedly said he might stay at Jaguar in '05 if things improve - indeed, a few days ago in France, Mark finished within 30 seconds of the podium. ''It was a strong weekend,'' Webber admitted, ''but we've got [teams] ahead of us in the championship who're there because they are much more reliable than us. ''It's been bloody frustrating, to be honest.'' * How might Silverstone be similar to Magny-Cours? Rain on Friday, according to Mark Webber. ''At least some dry running was done in the last test,'' he noted. |
