| DRIVERS STANDING |
07-04-2004 Williams has not decided if Marc Gene will also contest the British GP. Technical director Sam Michael said the Spanish test and 'reserve' driver has done 'no worse' but also 'no better' than was expected here at Magny-Cours. Ralf Schumacher could be out for 12 weeks with fractured back bones. ''I would say [Marc has] done as expected,'' Michael told Reuters. BMW-Williams therefore confirmed a decision on Juan Pablo Montoya's Silverstone team-mate will be taken ''during next week. We'll see how (Marc Gene) goes.'' Michael said a race-by-race basis gives the team 'flexibility. ''We don't know how long [Ralf] will be out for.'' |
