07-23-2004 Ralf Schumacher will not just be in Williams' Hockenheim garage to offer 'moral support,' a spokesman for the Formula One team told publications on Thursday. He said the injured German is to be 'active' in answering questions. 'Fourth' driver Antonio Pizzonia has been drafted to drive the sister FW26 at Hockenheim while Schumacher, 29, rests to heal two fractured spinal bones. The spokesman said his recovery is going well with no 'complications.' Schumacher, a German, will answer questions 'from his replacement [Pizzonia]' - according to the team representative - in the 'fine tuning' of the car's set-up. BMW's Dr Mario Theissen insists Ralf was 'really missed' especially at Silverstone where race-sub Marc Gene struggled to hone the FW26's settings. |
