07-11-2004 British Grand Prix pole-sitter Kimi Raikkonen has warned McLaren fans to put their chequered flags back in mothballs for at least a few more grands prix. The Finn said it doesn't 'look possible' to win at Silverstone. ''But we'll do our best,'' said the Finn, who praised undoubtedly improved performance in the 'B spec' silver car. ''This is only the car's second race. ''It's just a start. We've got new parts for Hockenheim so it should go quicker there. I hope we can win races but I think it is going to be difficult here.'' * David Richards said BAR's English driver Jenson Button still has a 'long way to go' before he is as ready to conquer the world as F1's Michael Schumacher. ''I'm not saying he can't be [future] champion,'' said the Brackley boss. |
