Mosley
sick of blunt F1 knives 07-03-2004 Max Mosley is sick of sitting in long meetings with Formula One chiefs. ''We agree things and then we go away and they've changed their minds completely,'' the FIA president, who'll retire later in '04, said in France. ''So I've wasted another day. ''Sometimes I think it'd be more fun to sit on the beach with a book.'' The Briton, 64, cut into one 'unnamed' principal - not the 'the sharpest knife in the box' - who disrupts every meeting with 'completely irrelevant' detail. Sources say there's no doubt the 'knife' is McLaren's Ron Dennis. ''[The situation] had begun to pall,'' said Mosley. No doubt, sentiment says F1'd like Max to stay - in this world, players are accustomed to about-faces. ''I don't change my mind every minute,'' he said. ''After all, I'm not an F1 team principal ...'' Mosley said he had achieved everything in thirteen years 'I set out to achieve.'
