The FIA needs a new President who can 'put ego to one side.' That's Formula One veteran David Coulthard's reaction to the weekend's news that 13-year incumbent Max Mosley is stepping-down from the top-job in October. ''It's important that the guy who fills his shoes is appropriate,'' said the Scot. ''It's a very important role that influences all of world motor sport.'' DC said the new FIA chief needs to have 'a vision for the good' of the sport. ''He needs to be able to put ego to one side and that's not always easy.'' * Six-times world champion Michael Schumacher added that Mosley, 64, has been a 'strong and powerful' leader. ''He had clear targets and achieved them.'' |
