12-01-2004 (GMM -- Dec.1) A drunk Kimi Raikkonen collapsed in the street after a wild night out in Gran Canaria, the German media revealed. The McLaren driver in Formula One was photographed by 'Bild' newspaper in a drunken pose, and later lying still on a footpath. He told a Finnish newspaper: ''I must say sorry!'' But the 25-year-old is clearly frustrated that - at the end of a long championship season - he can't go out without massive media scrutiny. Kimi asked: ''Why shouldn't I go out and have a few drinks? Sometimes I wish I were just a normal guy.'' Former F1 driver and German commentator Hans Stuck condemned Raikkonen's alcoholic bender. He said: ''Raikkonen is a role model for ... children and young people.'' |
