07-04-2004 Jenson Button is desperate for his first Formula One win. His BAR is fourth on the grid for today's French Grand Prix but he smilingly vowed to do it even if 'I might save it for Silverstone' in a few days' time. Button, 24, reckons the Michelin-clad 006 was 'quicker' than race-winning Michael Schumacher's Ferrari at the most recent GP across the Atlantic. ''It was so easy [to drive],'' said the Briton, whose Indy gearbox broke. He also reckons Ferrari's Bridgestone's 'were blistering a lot.' * Button said BAR's Honda V10 is not the fastest engine here at Magny-Cours. ''So it's going to be tough for us to overtake,'' Jenson warned on Saturday. |
