05-22-2004 The Formula One headlines are proclaiming a 'Trulli wonderful' pole, but BAR star Jenson Button is also in the hunt to win his first Grand Prix in Monaco. With Ralf Schumacher demoted, the Briton is on the front row of the grid. ''Michael's down the order a bit,'' JB said after qualifying, ''but I'm sandwiched between a couple of Renaults - and they're looking solid right now.'' All, however, was not well in Saturday practice. Button admitted: ''Yeah - I was struggling a bit with set-up. ''It was better just then, but I still couldn't get the best out of sector two. ''I'm pretty happy with everything, though.'' BAR team-mate Takuma Sato had a moment at the exit of the tunnel. ''I locked up into the chicane,' said the Japanese (7th). ''Everything locked up! I'm not very happy because I could have been closer to the front row.'' |
